With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dallas Winston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jah Nino!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Franklyn Lucas and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winston jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Nino throws a counter combo.
Nino looks to throw the jab but Winston is out of range.
Winston misses with a lunging right hand
letting Nino counter with a right hand.
Nino connects with a right hand. Winston shakes it off.
Nino throws a poor cross that misses
and Winston counters with a two punch combo.

Nino misses with a hook. Winston ducked under it nicely.
Nino is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Winston's half guard.

It looks like Dallas Winston has been cut.

Nino is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Winston is keeping busy.

That was a close round but I would say that Dallas Winston will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Nino throws out a counter right but Winston avoids it with no problem.
Winston has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

A looping hook to the body misses from Winston. Nino does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nino tries to close the distance and clinch up but Winston swats him away and circles back towards the center.

enabling Winston to counter with a crisp jab.
Winston works Nino's body with a nice hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Winston lands the left hand.
Winston fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nino manages to avoid it.
A little jabbing left from Nino on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Nino wants to clinch up but Winston keeps it at a distance.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Nino takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nino is still on wobbly legs! Can Winston finish him?

Winston fakes the body blow, causing Nino to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Nino goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

An out of breath Dallas Winston thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
In defeat, Jah Nino stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'll be back'.
