Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Corvinus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boob Naboob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Naboob's choice of entrance music: Bullet With Butterfly Wings. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Steve Montenegro and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corvinus shoots in and drives through. Naboob sprawls well.
Corvinus tries to clinch up but Naboob circles away and keeps his distance.
Corvinus fails to land the takedown.
Corvinus tries to close the distance and clinch up but Naboob swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Naboob rushes Corvinus and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Corvinus can't break the clinch.
Naboob has hold of one of Corvinus's legs. Corvinus is fighting the takedown attempt but Naboob gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Naboob missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Corvinus tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Naboob won't allow Corvinus to get back to his feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Naboob won't allow Corvinus to sweep him here.
Corvinus is breathing heavily.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Corvinus wants to clinch
and Naboob decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Corvinus's guard.
Corvinus avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Corvinus working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Naboob doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Naboob manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Naboob decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Naboob looks to land a combination but Corvinus avoids it well.
Naboob misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Corvinus wants to clinch
so Naboob counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Naboob wants to pass the guard but Corvinus is keeping the position.
Naboob passes Corvinus's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Naboob works his way into side control.
Naboob takes a little break here. Corvinus wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Corvinus is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Naboob asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Naboob wants to control but Corvinus is keeping him busy.

Naboob cracks Corvinus with a big elbow.

Naboob decides to stand up, so the ref orders Corvinus to his feet.
Naboob clinches with his opponent.
Naboob drags the fight down to the ground.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Naboob escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Corvinus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh but Naboob is tightening it up a little... Corvinus has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Corvinus reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Corvinus taps out! nice BJJ there by Naboob!
