Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Melvin Van Manhoef (ranked 4501 p4p, 4472 weight class) and Jakul DuVicius (ranked 422 p4p, 417 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Melvin Van Manhoef! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jakul DuVicius! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Ben Hemmingworth and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Manhoef walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. DuVicius checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Van Manhoef throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
DuVicius flicks out a counter leg kick but Van Manhoef steps away. Van Manhoef slips under a jab from DuVicius. Van Manhoef ducks down and throws a hook to the body but DuVicius moves away. DuVicius flicks out a counter leg kick but Van Manhoef steps away. DuVicius has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. DuVicius throws a leg kick that misses. Van Manhoef lands an overhand right.
It looks like Jakul DuVicius has been cut. DuVicius defending well as Van Manhoef loads up on a big left hand. DuVicius appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A telegraphed right hand from Van Manhoef misses the target. And an attempted straight right on the counter from DuVicius! But no joy. DuVicius bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. DuVicius lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. DuVicius lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Van Manhoef misses with a looping left. A countering left hand to the body from DuVicius misses. Van Manhoef walks into a jab. Van Manhoef checks a leg kick. DuVicius ducks under a wild hook from Van Manhoef. DuVicius takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
DuVicius walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
