Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Timothy Spence (ranked 4431 p4p, 4545 weight class) and Allen Douglas (ranked 415 p4p, 427 weight class). Spence comes to the ring accompanied by He's A Mental Giant. Allen Douglas told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Timothy Spence!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Allen Douglas!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Hugh Johnson and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spence lands a two punch combo.
Spence jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Allen Douglas has been cut.
Douglas avoids the head kick by Spence.
Douglas slips under a jab from Spence.
Douglas steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Timothy Spence seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slow jab from Spence misses its intended target.
A little jabbing left from Douglas on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Spence scores with a nice head shot.
Spence throws a lazy uppercut
and Douglas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Spence jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Douglas looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Douglas gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Spence closes the distance and catches Douglas with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Douglas is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Douglas is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Douglas is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Spence takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Timothy Spence!
