Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Samart Karoon (ranked 3751 p4p, 3849 weight class) and Kike Mardacini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Samart Karoon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kike Mardacini!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jorge Garcia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karoon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Samart Karoon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Karoon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mardacini counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Mardacini drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Still in the clinch, Karoon scores with a nice short uppercut.

Mardacini pulls guard effortlessly.
Mardacini is pulling down on Karoon's head. It's preventing any offense from Karoon, at least for the moment.
Mardacini's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mardacini is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mardacini looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Karoon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Mardacini is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Mardacini looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Mardacini is controlling the pace.
Mardacini stands up and beckons Karoon to join him on the feet.

Karoon throws a nice outside leg kick.
Mardacini shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Karoon as he avoids it easily.
Samart Karoon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mardacini fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Nice uppercut lands for Karoon. That snapped Mardacini's head back.
Mardacini cracks Karoon with a right hand to the side of the head.
Karoon is rocked!
Mardacini avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Oh Karoon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mardacini takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Karoon seems to have got his legs back now.
Karoon fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mardacini is out of range.
Karoon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Karoon looks to land a combination but Mardacini avoids it well.
Karoon is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Karoon tries to land a front kick but Mardacini steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Karoon tries to clinch up.
Karoon misses with a leg kick.
Karoon stuffs the takedown.
Samart Karoon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kike Mardacini.
Mardacini forces Karoon back against the cage and clinches.
Karoon misses with a punch to the body.
Karoon gets underhooks to prevent Mardacini's takedown attempt.
Karoon tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Mardacini digs a right hand underneath Karoon's ribcage. Karoon let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Karoon tries to throw a body punch but Mardacini avoids it by throwing Karoon back against the cage.
Karoon misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Mardacini escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Karoon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mardacini counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Karoon tries to clinch
and Mardacini counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kike Mardacini dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Karoon closes the distance but Mardacini moves to the side
and Mardacini counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Karoon! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Mardacini!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kike Mardacini!
