Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rhett Colett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Henrique Rosa!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosa getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
It looks like Rhett Colett has been cut.
Rosa's coach down at Dissolution Elite Training Facility was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rosa's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
A nice leg kick lands there from Rosa.
Colett seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Rosa feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Colett sprawling to the canvas! Colett rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rosa finish him?!
Colett is rocked!
Rosa weaves into range and cracks Colett right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Colett goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Rosa is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Henrique Rosa!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Henrique Rosa waved his t-shirt featuring Bloodbath MMA Clothing's logo in front of the cameras.
