Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matija Maestro (ranked 2002 p4p, 3667 weight class) and Storm Father (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maestro's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Planet Caravan - Black Sabbath. Storm Father has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Matija Maestro's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Matija Maestro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Storm Father!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maestro shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Father looks like he's trying to stand up.
Maestro not doing much here.
Maestro working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Maestro moves nicely into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maestro just content to control the position.
Maestro cracks Father with a big right hand but Father just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Father tries to escape but Maestro is in control.

Maestro scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Father to see if he's OK.

Maestro working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Maestro is working Father over with some ground and pound from side control.
Maestro is working to tighten his grip on Father's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Father has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Maestro is really squeezing tight and eventually Father passes out! Maestro breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Matija Maestro!
After winning the bout, Matija Maestro thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
