Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ed Swirly (ranked 3964 p4p, 5282 weight class) and Ebenezer Wescott (ranked 381 p4p, 457 weight class). Swirly's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The sound of goats screaming. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ed Swirly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ebenezer Wescott! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wescott clinches. Swirly is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Swirly is trying to break free. Swirly lands with a short head shot on the inside. Wescott misses with a hook to the ribs.

Wescott rushes Swirly and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Wescott digs a right hand into Swirly's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Swirly's gas tank. Swirly wants to break free but Wescott has control.
Swirly trying to control the position but instead, Wescott has worked for underhooks and has pushed Swirly into the cage. Swirly throws a head punch that misses. Wescott breaks from the clinch.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Swirly lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wescott has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wescott and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Wescott looks like he wants to counter punch here. Wescott gets a clinch. Wescott breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Swirly loads up on a big right hand but Wescott slips the punch. Swirly throws a body shot but no joy. Swirly misses with a body kick. Swirly gets tackled into the cage by Wescott. Wescott maintains the clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wescott working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Wescott blocking some punches.

Wescott has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Swirly finds it's way round the side to connect with Wescott's head. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Wescott checks a leg kick. Wescott checks a low kick from Swirly. A lazy body kick from Swirly and Wescott counters with a left and a right that stings Swirly. Wescott forces Swirly back against the cage and clinches. Wescott scores with a hook to the body. Wescott works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Swirly is breathing heavily. Wescott lands with a left to the head. Wescott looks to throw an elbow but misses. Wescott scores with a nice hook to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wescott lands a nice shot to the body. Knees to the body from Wescott.
Wescott makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Wescott escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Wescott throws a knee to the head but misses.

And that's the end of the fight! Ebenezer Wescott comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Wescott has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
