Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green comes to the cage accompanied by that go- keak da sneak. White has chosen "Bring Out Your Dead" by Strung Out as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeffrey Green! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jay White! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green doesn't manage to clinch there - White circles away.
White tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. White displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Green. White avoids the body shot from Green.
Green misses the shot to the body. White wants to slow Green down by chopping away at his legs. Green misses with a wild combination.
White ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Green moves away. White throws a head kick that misses. White scores with a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A combination from Green does no damage. Green scores with a jab. White acknowledges it with a nod of the head. White is looking to chop away at Green's legs. Green uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from White. Green ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. White throws a body punch but Green moves out of range. Green connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Green on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nice jab there from White. White swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Green. White checks the leg kick. Green scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Green wants to control but White is keeping him busy. Green throwing shots but missing, from side control. An elbow from Green crashes against the mat.
Green tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. The ground and pound from Green seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. White is trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Green creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Green tries to advance to mount but can't.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Green connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Some bone on bone action there as Green checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Decent striking displayed by White there. Green throws a wild body kick that White sees coming a mile off. White throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Green slips under a jab from White. Green lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but White circles away quickly and effectively. White wants to land a leg kick but Green is out of range. Green chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before White can pounce on him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. White with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Green takes a shot to the body in his stride.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White clobbers Green with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. White throws a push kick but Green slaps the foot to one side. Some bone on bone action there as Green checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. White misses with a jab, cross combination.
White connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Green is breathing heavily. Green misses the body punch and White counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. White cracks Green with a right hand to the side of the head. White throws a hook to the side of Green's head but Green sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. White lands with a cross.
Green is rocked! Green shoots for a takedown but White saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. White will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
An inside leg kick from White misses. Jay White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. White swings away with a leg kick that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A solid leg kick lands there for White.
Green misses with a body punch
and White counters with a good low kick that Green was not able to check. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! White lands a high kick!
Oh Green is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! White sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Green's defenses. It connects perfectly with Green's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
