Randriamaholison comes to the cage accompanied by Careless Whisper (Remastered). Boniface Randriamaholison has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Petr Stukov!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Stukov.
Randriamaholison uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stukov.
Stukov throws a jab but it's blocked by Randriamaholison.
It looked like Randriamaholison was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Stukov.
Stukov throws a shot from downtown. Randriamaholison moves away and avoids it.
Randriamaholison ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stukov moves away.
Stukov throws a jab but it's blocked by Randriamaholison.
Randriamaholison takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Stukov's coach down at St Petersburg MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Stukov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

A cross from Stukov lands.
Stukov pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Stukov misses with an uppercut. Randriamaholison saw that one coming.
Stukov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Randriamaholison.
Randriamaholison staying out of range there.
Randriamaholison appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
The crowd cheers as Stukov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Randriamaholison doesn't seem phased though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A little feinted left hand from Randriamaholison on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Stukov scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Some bone on bone action there as Randriamaholison checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Petr Stukov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Randriamaholison was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Stukov throws a nice looking combination but Randriamaholison bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Randriamaholison lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Randriamaholison.
It looks like Petr Stukov has been cut.
Randriamaholison avoids the head kick by Stukov.
Stukov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Randriamaholisons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Randriamaholison counters with a leg kick.
Stukov misses with a lunging right hand
and Randriamaholison counters with a nice right hand that sends Stukov toppling to the canvas! Stukov scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Randriamaholison finish him?!
Randriamaholison avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
It looked like Randriamaholison wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Stukov wants to slow Randriamaholison down by chopping away at his legs.

and Randriamaholison counters with a crisp right hand that drops Stukov! Randriamaholison lets Stukov back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

and Randriamaholison counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Stukov falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
