Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Austin Stevens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Braun Westen!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens swings for the body but Westen moves out of range.
Stevens misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Westen! But no joy.
Stevens looks to score with a jab to the body but Westen is just out of range.
Westen takes a jab right on the kisser.
Westen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stevens.
Stevens is looking for a counter combo.
Westen connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Stevens momentarily.
Stevens misses with a low kick.
Stevens fails to land with a series of punches.
Stevens takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stevens jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Stevens sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Westen sizes up Stevens with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Stevens connects with a crisp jab.
Stevens looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Stevens backing away here, and Westen unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Stevens misses the shot to the body.
Stevens uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Westen.
Stevens misses with a body shot.
Stevens uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Westen.
Stevens throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Westen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A jab lands there for Westen.
Stevens connects with a nice looking jab.
Westen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Stevens throws a leg kick but Westen sees it coming and checks it nicely.
A jab from Westen misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A chopping leg kick lands by Stevens.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stevens keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Westen has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Westen throws a hook but Stevens avoids it easily.

Westen cracks Stevens with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Stevens falls to his knees and Westen doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
