The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Blackwell or perhaps it was just good defense by Gibbs, which made it look bad.
Gibbs drops down looking for a counter takedown but Blackwell sprawls and moves away.
Gibbs drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gibbs cracks Blackwell with a big right hand but Blackwell just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Blackwell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Gibbs lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Blackwell down.
Blackwell is still in real trouble! Can Gibbs finish him?
Gibbs lands a strong strike to the head of Blackwell. That's dazed him! Gibbs looking to finish here. Blackwell is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Gibbs lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
