Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Askren (ranked 2113 p4p, 3514 weight class) and Sigandi Legendary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sigandi Legendary will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 30 - 1, fighting out of London, Jake Askren! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 37 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sigandi Legendary! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Legendary gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Askren to score an easy takedown into full guard. Askren stands and throws Legendary's legs to the side, diving into side control. Askren lands a decent elbow from side control. Askren is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Legendary has escaped the position, nice work there. Askren looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Askren is working Legendary over with some ground and pound from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Askren decides to stand back up. Askren moves into range and clinches up with Legendary. This has been an exciting period of action! Legendary is trying to force a seperation but Askren has the dominant position. Legendary is looking to break free of the clinch but Askren has double underhooks. Askren gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Legendary regains guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Askren drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Askren jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Askren works a leg free and moves into half guard. Askren moves nicely into side control. Askren has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Askren shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Askren showed some decent athleticism there. Askren escapes and gets back to his feet. Askren shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Askren passes Legendary's left leg - he's now in half guard. Askren uses his free foot to push down on Legendary's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Legendary.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Askren takes Legendary's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Legendary is in trouble. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Askren is working for a rear naked choke. Legendary is not defending it well and Askren has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Legendary refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Legendary's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jake Askren! Our winner, Jake Askren, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
