In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 1 losses; Jake Everett! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 2 losses; Tommy Carter!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.


Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?

Carter controlling the position well here. Everett rolled but Carter kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Carter has the hooks in. Everett is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Carter might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Everett haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Carter is trying to stick to Everett's back but Everett is turning into Carter. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Carter's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Everett.

Everett goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Carter has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Everett but great work by Carter.
