This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 5 losses; Butch Wang! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 3 losses; Nigel Greer! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Greer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wang but Wang pushes him off and we're back to square one. Wang appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Wang darts in and clinches Greer up against the ropes. Greer tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Greer jumps guard and drags Wang to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Greer is trying to keep Wang in close.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Greer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Greer controls Wang momentarily but Wang frees himself. Wang has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Wang has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Greer celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
