Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wilbur Ratt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Topf Deckel!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deckel throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ratt tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Deckel is in Ratt's guard.
Ratt keeping moving, preventing Deckel from controlling successfully.
Ratt is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Deckel stopping the sweep attempt from Ratt.

Ratt escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Deckel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ratt pushes Deckel off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ratt scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Ratt lands a jab to Deckel's midsection.
Ratt throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ratt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Deckel circles away quickly and effectively.
Deckel throws a body shot but no joy.
Ratt has been working on his boxing with his coaches at 3Band MMA in the buildup to the fight.
A swing and a miss from Ratt.
Deckel doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Deckel shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Deckel works his way into side control.
Ratt is looking to reverse the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Deckel is working to tighten his grip on Ratt's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Ratt has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Deckel is really squeezing tight and eventually Ratt passes out! Deckel breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Topf Deckel!
