Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Django Wick (ranked 5304 p4p, 25229 weight class) and Tiberium Xavier (ranked 485 p4p, 494 weight class). Tiberium Xavier has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Django Wick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tiberium Xavier! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Xavier tries to clinch but Wick is having none of it. Wick tries to counter with a takedown but Xavier is quick to defend against it. Wick moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Xavier fails with a takedown attempt. Xavier shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wick pinned against the cage. Wick gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Xavier moves into the clinch. Xavier is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Wick to keep the fight standing. Django Wick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tiberium Xavier. Wick breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Some wild striking there from Wick.

Xavier shoots in for a double leg but Wick sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A jab lands there for Wick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Xavier avoids a punch combination nicely.
Xavier looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Wick gets tackled into the cage by Xavier. Xavier maintains the clinch. Xavier fails to pull guard.
Xavier jumps guard but Wick stands there with Xavier around his waist. Xavier gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Wick escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Xavier is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wick sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Wick moves into the clinch. Wick breaks the clinch.
Wick scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Xavier is looking to reverse the position. Xavier is still trying to improve position. Wick creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Xavier sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wick tries to stand but Xavier is controlling his head. Wick trying to control the action but Xavier is working from the bottom. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Xavier is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Xavier gets back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wick trying to control but Xavier is working from the bottom. Xavier looking for a sweep. Not yet Xavier, not yet.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Xavier looks for a takedown but Wick sprawls well. Xavier dives in and grabs Wick's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wick pushes down on Xavier's head and hops out. Wick throws a leg kick which misses Xavier's front leg but catches the back leg as Xavier tries to avoid it. Wick darts in and clinches Xavier up against the cage. Wick working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Wick breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wick with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Wick closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Xavier did well to prevent Wick getting side control. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wick in particular looking to stall. Xavier misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Wick blocks the strikes from Xavier.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Django Wick dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Xavier clinches up against the cage. Xavier tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wick just stands there and leans against the cage. Wick is trying to maintain a safe position but Xavier gets an underhook and turns Wick into the cage. Xavier drags the fight down to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wick looking to pass the guard. Xavier will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Wick wants to control from the top but Xavier keeps moving. Wick won't allow Xavier to sweep him here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Xavier throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Django Wick overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Xavier trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Wick has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's one minute gone in the round. Xavier lands some strikes from the bottom. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Wick trying to control but Xavier is working from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Wick keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Django Wick is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Xavier clinches with his opponent.
Xavier successfully pulls guard.
Wick being controlled here momentarily. Wick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Xavier on the ground. Xavier keeping moving, preventing Wick from controlling successfully. Xavier wriggles free and stands up. We've been told by Wick's head coaches at Punchin N\' Chockin that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Xavier changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wick tries to avoid it but Xavier manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wick to the ground. Wick escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Django Wick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tiberium Xavier. Xavier doesn't succeed with the takedown and Wick counters with a lovely shot to the body. Django Wick is winning the standup battle so far. Xavier is breathing heavily. Xavier shoots in but no luck this time. As Xavier looks to move away, Wick throws a big counter combo but Xavier just gets out of the way. Xavier will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A right-left combo lands from Wick. Tiberium Xavier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice body kick there by Wick. Xavier finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Wick's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Xavier falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Django Wick!
