Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Tyler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rickety Cricket! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cricket swats away the attempt to clinch by Tyler. No luck for Tyler with that takedown attempt. Cricket scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Jake Tyler has been cut. Cricket throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A punch combination from Tyler misses. Cricket stuffs the takedown attempt from Tyler. Tyler gets slowly back to his feet. Tyler gets caught flat footed, as Cricket shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Tyler keeping full guard, as Cricket tries to pass. Tyler looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Tyler trying to strike off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cricket slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Cricket advances to mount. Cricket is going olschool here, as he tries to force Tyler to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Tyler shrugs it off. Tyler is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Tyler tries to reverse the position but Cricket maintains control. Cricket with a couple of short strikes. Cricket can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tyler is looking to escape. Cricket thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Cricket throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Tyler turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Cricket off and cradles Tyler's limp body as Cricket celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Rickety Cricket!
