Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pascal Popper (ranked 1205 p4p, 33 weight class) and Erik Bjornsson (ranked 162 p4p, 8 weight class). Erik Bjornsson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Erik Bjornsson!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Popper throws a sloppy body shot
and Bjornsson counters with a nice right hand that sends Popper toppling to the canvas! Popper scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Bjornsson finish him?!
It looks like Pascal Popper has been cut.
Popper throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Popper definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bjornsson moves out of range of the strikes.

It seemed like Bjornsson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Popper lands a jab to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Popper throws an off balance right hand
and Bjornsson scores with a counter punch that sends Popper to the canvas! Bjornsson smells blood - he's punishing Popper with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Popper has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
