Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Schlitz Mahpants Jr (ranked 1631 p4p, 2118 weight class) and Reñan Silva (ranked 158 p4p, 192 weight class). Silva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: “Ak Do Flamego”. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Schlitz Mahpants Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reñan Silva!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the body from Silva misses
enabling Mahpants Jr to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Reñan Silva has been cut.
Mahpants Jr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Silva.
Silva on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mahpants Jr. Mahpants Jr obviously looking to wear him down.

Silva shoots in for a takedown but Mahpants Jr shows good takedown defense.
A little feinted left hand from Mahpants Jr on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Mahpants Jr connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Mahpants Jr sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Silva dives in and grabs Mahpants Jr's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mahpants Jr pushes down on Silva's head and hops out.
Mahpants Jr appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Schlitz Mahpants Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reñan Silva.

Silva lands with a straight right. Mahpants Jr didn't see that one coming.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

We've been told by Mahpants Jr's head coaches at Hare of the Dog Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Silva takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mahpants Jr slaps away a takedown attempt from Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Mahpants Jr cracks Silva with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Mahpants Jr tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Silva is able to avoid easily.
Silva drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Mahpants Jr defends it well.

Schlitz Mahpants Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mahpants Jr throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease.

Mahpants Jr bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Mahpants Jr is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Silva looks to score with a jab to the body but Mahpants Jr is just out of range.
Mahpants Jr lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Silva tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Mahpants Jr lands a leg kick that knocks Silva off balance momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mahpants Jr fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Mahpants Jr is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Silva can do to turn this around?

Silva's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mahpants Jr connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Silva scrambles back to his feet.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Silva might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Mahpants Jr has got the better of the exchanges.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Silva crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mahpants Jr - the referee stops the clock and Silva gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mahpants Jr. Silva manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Crack! A monster head kick from Mahpants Jr and Silva falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Mahpants Jr!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Schlitz Mahpants Jr!
After winning the bout, Schlitz Mahpants Jr thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
