Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ilya Muromets (ranked 1795 p4p, 1265 weight class) and Summit Panda (ranked 223 p4p, 167 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ilya Muromets! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Summit Panda! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Panda looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Panda is looking to clinch. Muromets appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Muromets swats away the attempt to clinch by Panda. Muromets attempts a counter takedown but Panda avoids it well and moves away. Panda misses with a left hand and Muromets counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Panda is looking to get back to full guard here but Muromets has managed to pass to side control instead. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Panda struggling a bit here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Muromets throwing shots but missing, from side control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Panda can do anything to dispel that myth. Muromets working the ground and pound. Muromets has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Muromets cracks Panda with a big elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Muromets looks up at the clock and then as Panda takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Muromets smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Panda takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Muromets works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Panda is trying to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Muromets lands a nice forearm strike. Muromets cracks Panda with an elbow. That is naaassty. Muromets creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Muromets scores with punches from side control. Muromets in side control lands a decent elbow.
Panda is rocked! Muromets working the ground and pound. Panda is still in real trouble! Can Muromets finish him? Muromets lands a strong strike to the head of Panda. That's dazed him! Muromets looking to finish here. Panda is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Muromets lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ilya Muromets! An out of breath Ilya Muromets thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
