Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tim Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Martell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor comes into the arena with Everything in its right place- Radio Head blaring out of the sound system. Tim Taylor could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rick Martell's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martell tries to clinch up.

Taylor shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Taylor was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Taylor takes Martell's back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Taylor doesn't have the hooks in and Martell manages to turn into his guard.

Martell throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Taylor works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Taylor is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Martell is aware though and is defending well.
Taylor bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Martell's guard.

Martell flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Martell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Martell gets caught flat footed, as Taylor shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Martell wants to sweep here but Taylor controlling him for the moment.

Taylor passes Martell's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Taylor has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Taylor is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Martell is surviving well by controlling Taylor's body position as best he can.
Taylor avoids the attempt from Martell to control.

Martell has given up his back here. Will Taylor look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Taylor working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Martell is doing well to defend. Taylor seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Martell is forced to tap and this one is over!
