Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Meglona Doume (ranked 3376 p4p, 2943 weight class) and Bryan Snyder (ranked 380 p4p, 338 weight class). Bryan Snyder will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Meglona Doume!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bryan Snyder!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doume dives in and grabs Snyder's left leg, looking for a takedown. Snyder pushes down on Doume's head and hops out.
Snyder closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Snyder escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Snyder connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Doume's hands.
Doume shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Doume darts in looking for a takedown but Snyder gets double underhooks and turns Doume into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Meglona Doume. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Doume tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Snyder just stands there and leans against the cage.
Snyder's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Doume slips under a jab.
Doume shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Snyder is trying to defend but Doume finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Doume takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Doume is trying to work for a kimura but Snyder is defending well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Doume is trying to control the action in half guard but Snyder is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Doume is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Snyder defends it well.

Doume works his way into full mount!
