Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Harrison (ranked 530 p4p, 322 weight class) and Semi Veainu (ranked 71 p4p, 43 weight class). Harrison's entrance music is All of the Above. A fine choice. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Harrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Semi Veainu! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Veainu takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Harrison swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A little jabbing left from Veainu on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Harrison scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Veainu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Veainu looks like he wants to counter punch here. Harrison throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Veainu on the side of the head. Veainu moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Harrison throws a hook but Veainu avoids it easily. Harrison lands with a cross. Harrison throws a poor cross that misses
and Harrison takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Michael Harrison has been cut. Harrison throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Harrison cracks Veainu with a right hand to the side of the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Veainu ducks right into an uppercut from Harrison.
That's one minute gone in the round. Veainu moves out of range of the strikes. Veainu throws out a counter right but Harrison avoids it with no problem. We've been told by Harrison's head coaches at Banzai Combat Academy LA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Michael Harrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Veainu takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Harrison ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Harrison misses the shot to the body. Veainu swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Harrison throws a body shot but no joy. Harrison feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Veainus jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Jab, jab by Harrison - just one landing. Veainu avoids the body shot from Harrison.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Veainu keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Harrison misses with a looping left. Veainu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Harrison. Harrison rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Veainu counters with a nice uppercut. A big left from Harrison misses. This has been an exciting period of action! Harrison misses with a wild body shot. Harrison scores with a jab. A slow jab from Harrison misses its intended target. Veainu is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Harrison with a body shot. Harrison throws an off balance right hand
and Veainu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Veainu walks into a stiff left hand from Harrison.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harrison scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Harrison throws a series of punches but Veainu moves out of range. Veainu takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Veainu doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Harrison throws a big shot that misses. Harrison with a nice cross. Harrison connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Harrison scores with a nice head shot. Harrison works the jab nicely. Harrison misses with a lunging right hand
and Veainu counters with a straight right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Harrison misses its intended target. It seemed like Veainu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A cross from Harrison lands. Harrison connects with a good right hand that stumbles Veainu. Veainu circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Harrison is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Harrison rushes Veainu and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Veainu is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Harrison piles on the pressure and Veainu crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Harrison! Michael Harrison tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
