Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timo Werner (ranked 1490 p4p, 1392 weight class) and Barnaby Grunter (ranked 186 p4p, 174 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Timo Werner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barnaby Grunter!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Still in the clinch, Grunter scores with a nice short uppercut.
Werner goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Werner tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Grunter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Werner throws a big shot that misses.
Grunter has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Grunter looks to land a left hand but Werner moved out of range nicely.
Werner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Grunter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Werner.
Werner is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Werner checks a low kick from Grunter.
Werner fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Grunter, pushing him back against the cage.
Werner swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Werner blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Grunter throws a punch but it's blocked by Werner.
Grunter lands with a short shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Grunter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Grunter moves out of range of the strikes.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Grunter! But no joy.
Grunter will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Werner lands with a nice body punch.
Werner keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Werner clinches up against the cage.
Werner lands a shoulder strike.
Nice body punch from Grunter - that landed with a thud.
Grunter lands a right hand that snaps the head of Werner backwards.

A frustrated look appears on Werner's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Werner tries a body shot but Grunter blocks it.
Grunter throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Werners head.
Grunter breaks from the clinch.
Werner doesn't manage to clinch there - Grunter circles away.
Werner misses with a leg kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Grunter throws a lazy uppercut
and Werner counters with a leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Werner fails in his attempt to clinch.
Werner takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
It looks like Timo Werner has been cut.
Werner is looking to clinch but Grunter is avoiding it.
Grunter avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Grunter takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Grunter misses with a straight left.
Grunter gets tackled into the cage by Werner. Werner maintains the clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Werner.
Grunter lands a body punch.
Werner is breathing heavily.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Grunter.
Grunter lands an uppercut.
Werner doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Werner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Grunter misses with an uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters circle momentarily. Grunter darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Grunter sends Werner crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Grunter is motioning to the referee to let Werner up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Werner is rocked!
A swing and a miss from Grunter.
Werner wants to clinch up but Grunter keeps it at a distance.
Grunter was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Grunter throws a body kick that misses.
Werner wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Grunter misses with a hook. Werner ducked under it nicely.
Werner closes the distance and pushes Grunter back into the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Grunter lands with a right to the head.
Grunter makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Werner lands a nice shot to the body.
Werner is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
A short right from Grunter on the inside.
Werner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Werner takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Grunter jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Grunter misses with a looping right.
Werner slips under a jab.
Werner takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Werner looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Werner's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Grunter connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Werner scrambles back to his feet.
Timo Werner's cut is getting worse.
Werner takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Grunter is looking to slow Werner down with leg kicks.
Werner ducks right into an uppercut from Grunter.
Grunter misses with an uppercut.
Werner stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Timo Werner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A low kick from Werner is predictable there
and Grunter counters with a crisp right hand that drops Werner! Grunter lets Werner back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Barnaby Grunter dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Timo Werner's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Werner tries to clinch up but Grunter circles away and keeps his distance.
Werner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Grunter paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Grunter fakes the body blow, causing Werner to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Werner goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Barnaby Grunter!
A relieved looking Barnaby Grunter thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
