Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yu Liang! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Columbo Gatti and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koivupuunoksa lands with a good body shot. Koivupuunoksa misses with a double jab
and Liang counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Sayonara Koivupuunoksa has been cut. A looping hook to the body misses from Koivupuunoksa. Liang does a little dance to reset his feet. Liang looks like he wants to counter punch here. It seemed like Liang was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Koivupuunoksa seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koivupuunoksa misses with a takedown attempt and Liang counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. and Liang counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Liang keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Liang steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Koivupuunoksa. Koivupuunoksa has his takedown stuffed and Liang counters with a nice uppercut. Koivupuunoksa doesn't succeed with the takedown and Liang counters with a crisp right that sends Koivupuunoksa to the canvas! Liang follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
