The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fiachna is defended easily by Petersen. Petersen changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. The fight moves into the clinch position. Fiachna jumps guard and drags Petersen to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Petersen passes Fiachna's left leg - he's now in half guard. Fiachna wants to get back to full guard. Petersen is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Fiachna!
