Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aoatea Nuku (ranked 249 p4p, 782 weight class) and Space Herpes (ranked 31 p4p, 104 weight class). Herpes has chosen Space Herpes as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Space Herpes!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Herpes there.
Herpes ducks under a wild hook from Nuku.
Nuku slips a jab and a cross from Herpes.
Herpes throws a looping overhand right but Nuku ducks down to avoid it.
Herpes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Herpes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Some wild striking there from Herpes.
Herpes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Herpes misses with a right hand
and Nuku makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Herpes throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Nuku counters with a stiff right hand.
A big right from Herpes misses.
Nuku has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Team Grunt in the buildup to the fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Herpes misses with a wild body shot.
Nuku is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Herpes takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Herpes checks a leg kick.
Herpes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Nuku blocks a head kick by Herpes.
Herpes pivots, looking for a leg kick but Nuku is out of range and Herpes settles back down.
Nuku tests Herpes's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Oooooh!!! Nuku has knocked Herpes down with a huge combo! Nuku steps away and waves a wobbly Herpes back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Herpes is rocked!
Herpes throws an off balance right hand
and Nuku counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aoatea Nuku!
