The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Pancake gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Williams to score an easy takedown into full guard. Pancake wants to get back to full guard. Well, if Williams is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Pancake has a hand on Williams's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Williams takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams looking to break Pancake's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Pancake remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Williams will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Pancake just trying to survive but Williams is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Pancake is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Pancake is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Williams off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Pancake is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Williams gets his way!
