Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Wilson (ranked 2242 p4p, 2932 weight class) and Tommy Wilander (ranked 116 p4p, 133 weight class). Wilson comes to the cage accompanied by I Stand Alone - Godsmack. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Lucas Wilson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tommy Wilander! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson sizes up Wilander with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Wilson thuds his right hand into Wilander's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Wilson cracks a nice hook into Wilander's ribs. Wilson lands a body shot.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A chopping leg kick lands by Wilson. Wilson misses with a hook. Wilander ducked under it nicely. Wilander drives through with a takedown into guard. Wilson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wilander stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wilson swivels though and keeps the full guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Wilson is pulling down on Wilander's head to control his posture. Wilson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Wilander content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
It looks like Lucas Wilson has been cut. Wilander throws a strike but Wilson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson passes Wilander's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Wilson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Wilander is looking to improve his position.

Wilander is trying to improve his position. Wilander looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Wilander connects with an elbow from the bottom. Wilander is looking for a sweep. Wilson working the head and body with strikes. Wilson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilander is looking for a sweep. Wilson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Wilson fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Wilander tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Wilson easily slips into full mount! Wilander tries to hold on but Wilson pushes him away. Wilson controlling the pace for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilander is squirming around, avoiding Wilson's attempts to control the action. Wilander is trying to escape the mount.
Wilson is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson tries to control but Wilander wriggling away. Wilander has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Wilander is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Wilson gets his way!
I really don't envy Wilander right now.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Wilson trying to control the action but Wilander is working from the bottom. Wilander is looking to control Wilson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wilander avoid being mounted? Wilson wants to stand up but Wilander is controlling the position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wilander can do anything to dispel that myth. Wilander keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Wilson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Lucas Wilson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Lucas Wilson's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Wilson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wilander's head backwards. Wilson lands with a right hand. Wilson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Wilander has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Wilander changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wilson tries to avoid it but Wilander manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wilson to the ground. Wilson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Wilson looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Wilson throws out a loose jab but Wilander uses good head movement to avoid it. Wilander on the wrong end of a nice hook. Wilson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wilander can do to turn this around? Wilson scores with a nice right hand.
Wilson thumps Wilander with a low kick. Oooooh!!! Wilson has knocked Wilander down with a huge combo! Wilson steps away and waves a wobbly Wilander back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Wilander is rocked!
It looks like Tommy Wilander has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wilson knocks out Wilander with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Wilson before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Wilson picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lucas Wilson! Our winner, Lucas Wilson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
