And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Khalil Rivers!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Khalil Rivers has been cut.
Rivers takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Mora jabs at Rivers's body.
Mora scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Mora scores with a jab. Rivers acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rivers has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Rivers takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Rivers looks winded!
Mora throws an uppercut from hell that sends Rivers clean off his feet! He's out cold! Mora stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
