Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jump Nelson (ranked 2858 p4p, 4869 weight class) and Dubba Sub (ranked 325 p4p, 435 weight class). Sub comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Live It Up! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jump Nelson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dubba Sub!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Sub kicks Nelson off and gets to his feet.
Nelson drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sub scrambles and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sub misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nelson swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Dubba Sub seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sub fails with the takedown
and Nelson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sub dives in for a single leg takedown but Nelson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Nelson was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Jump Nelson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dubba Sub.
Nelson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sub's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Nelson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sub looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sub looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sub!
Nelson is not content to let Sub control the position.

Sub wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nelson keeps working.

Sub is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nelson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Nelson is looking for a kimura but Sub is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nelson to get the leverage.

Nelson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Nelson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle�. Ooooh, that looks tight� Sub is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sub and Nelson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Nelson works to advance to full mount. Sub defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Sub reaches up to try and control the position but Nelson seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Sub rolls and tries to escape and now Nelson has his back!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Nelson tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Sub easily slips into full mount!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sub tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Dubba Sub has got the better of the ground game so far.
Sub is working for a guillotine from mount but Nelson frees his head quite easily.
Nelson tries to reverse the position but Sub maintains control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Nelson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sub defends it easily.

A very excited looking Dubba Sub rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
