Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brenden Valinteno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Czeslaw Pendrak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brenden Valinteno could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Czeslaw Pendrak's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pendrak throws a series of punches but Valinteno moves out of range.
Pendrak avoids a kick to the body.
Pendrak shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Valinteno as he jumps to the side.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pendrak throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Valinteno tries to move into full mount but can't pass Pendrak's legs.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Czeslaw Pendrak just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pendrak looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Valinteno is fending him off so far but Pendrak persists. Nope, Valinteno circles away and we're back to standing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
