This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Steve Fish! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 6 losses; Psiris Fuhren! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Fuhren wants to clinch up but Fish keeps it at a distance. Fish attempts a counter takedown but Fuhren avoids it well and moves away. Fish keeps the fight on the outside. Fuhren gets a clinch. Fish manages to pull guard.
Fuhren stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fish swivels though and keeps the full guard. Fish is adopting a defensive guard. Fuhren trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fuhren wants to control from the top but Fish keeps moving. Fish is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Fuhren rolls with it to try and escape but Fish cranks on the arm and Fuhren is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
