Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Randall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jimmy Langster!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randall throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Langster counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Langster throws a sloppy head kick
and Langster takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Jimmy Langster has been cut.
Langster has a takedown stuffed.
Randall stuffs the takedown attempt from Langster. Langster gets slowly back to his feet.
Langster uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Randall.
Langster throws a lazy head kick
and Langster takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Langster throws a leg kick that is checked
and Randall counters with a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Langster misses with a takedown attempt
and Randall counters with a crisp right hand that drops Langster! Randall lets Langster back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Sam Randall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Langster.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Randall tries to bum rush Langster with a series of wild strikes but Langster uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Langster has Randall up against the cage in a clinch.
Langster blocks an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Langster tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Langster is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Randall to keep the fight standing.
Randall tries to throw a body punch but Langster avoids it by throwing Randall back against the cage.
Langster is trying to pull guard but Randall turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Langster throws a punch but it's blocked by Randall.
Randall tries to stall but Langster uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Langster takes a shot to the head.
Langster is trying to break the clinch but Randall is controlling him.
Langster wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A short body shot lands from Randall as the two fighters clinch.
Langster looks winded!
A right hook to the body lands for Randall.
Randall lands a left hand that snaps the head of Langster backwards.
Randall looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Langster jumps guard but Randall stands there with Langster around his waist. Langster gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Randall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Randall connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Langster takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Langster misses with a leg kick
and Randall counters with a right hand to the body.
Sam Randall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Randall lands a big uppercut and Langster crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Langster looks OK. Randall waves Langster back to his feet!
Langster is rocked!
That has opened up Jimmy Langster's cut even more.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Randall engages and cracks Langster with a massive lead left hook - Langster tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Randall is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sam Randall!
