Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tian Li (ranked 3793 p4p, 3730 weight class) and Kazuo Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nakamura's choice of entrance music: Afloria Theme. Tian Li has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazuo Nakamura!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Li manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Li tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nakamura sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Li somewhat.
Nakamura swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nakamura dives in and grabs Li's left leg, looking for a takedown. Li pushes down on Nakamura's head and hops out.
Nakamura leaves Li with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looked like Li wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tian Li.
I think Li has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
