Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Franci Willis (ranked 4478 p4p, 3631 weight class) and Conner Contreras (ranked 220 p4p, 197 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Franci Willis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Conner Contreras! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Contreras dives in for a single leg takedown but Willis sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Contreras dives in and grabs Willis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Willis pushes down on Contreras's head and hops out. Some wild striking there from Willis.
Contreras tries to keep at a distance but Willis has taken the fight into the clinch. Contreras has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Willis avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Franci Willis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Conner Contreras. Willis jumps guard.
Willis thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Willis is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Willis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Contreras looking to sit in guard and control but Willis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Contreras manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Willis manages to get himself to full guard.
Willis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Contreras is one step ahead there. Contreras wants to control from the top but Willis keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Willis lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Contreras really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Willis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Contreras avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Willis controls from within his opponent's guard. Contreras is trying to control the position but Willis postures up. Willis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Contreras works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Willis trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Willis controls from within his opponent's guard. Contreras is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Contreras holds on and takes a little breather. Willis passes easily into side control. Nice work. Willis tries to advance to mount but can't. Willis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Contreras is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Contreras tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Willis wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Contreras is trying to buck Willis off. Willis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Contreras knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Willis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Willis just content to control the position. Willis lands some shots froms side control. Willis tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Willis works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. You can see the frustration on Contreras's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Contreras is trying to improve his position. Willis wants to control but Contreras is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Willis throws a strike aimed at the side of Contreras's head but Contreras avoids it well. Willis trying to control the position but Contreras is working away. Willis scoring with punches and elbows. Willis lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Contreras down.
Contreras is not content to let Willis control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Willis is working Contreras over with some ground and pound from side control. Willis controls the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Franci Willis dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Willis leaves Contreras with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Willis drives through with a takedown into guard. Contreras trying to keep a closed guard but Willis is proving a slippery customer.
Willis showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Willis tries to free his leg and advance position but Contreras is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Willis postures up.
Franci Willis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Willis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Willis advances to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Contreras trying to control from the bottom.
Contreras is trying to control but Willis manages to pass to mount!
Contreras is squirming around, avoiding Willis's attempts to control the action. Willis lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Willis controlling the pace for now. Contreras is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Willis looking to control and managing it successfully. Willis lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Willis lands a heavy elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Willis. Willis with good strikes from the mount here! Contreras is in all sorts of trouble here.
Willis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Contreras is looking to escape. Willis controlling the pace for now. Contreras tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Contreras is breathing heavily. Willis looking to control but Contreras is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Willis working the ground and pound effectively.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Contreras tries to lock up and control but Willis gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Willis is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Contreras to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Contreras shrugs it off. Willis avoids the attempt from Contreras to control. Contreras might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Willis haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Willis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Willis seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Contreras for as long as he can get away with. Willis lands with some strikes. Willis pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Contreras is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Willis with the ground and pound from mount. Willis landing strikes from the mount. Willis lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Willis controlling from the full mount. Willis lands a big elbow. Willis dominating with strikes here. This has been an exciting period of action! Contreras is trying desperately to improve position. Willis with the ground and pound from mount. Willis is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Contreras has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Contreras! Contreras would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Franci Willis dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Willis gets a clinch. Willis is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Contreras pulls him back up using the underhooks. Willis jumps guard and drags Contreras to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Contreras stands up from guard. Let's bang! Willis is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Contreras can do to turn this around? Willis is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Franci Willis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Willis clinches up with Contreras and pushes him back against the cage. Contreras is defending well against a takedown attempt. Willis decides to pull guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Contreras wants to control from the top but Willis keeps moving. Willis pulls Contreras in close to prevent any damage. Contreras would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Contreras is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Contreras wants to stand but Willis has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Contreras takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Willis wants to sweep here but Contreras controlling him for the moment. Contreras decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Willis, up you get!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Some wild striking there from Willis.
As Willis backs off Contreras throws a huge counter combo but Willis manages to avoid it all. Nice takedown defense from Willis. No joy for Contreras on that attempt. Willis fails with the takedown and Contreras counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Franci Willis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Contreras dives in for a single leg takedown but Willis sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Contreras closes the distance and clinches up with Willis, looking for a takedown. Contreras pushes Willis against the cage but Willis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Willis tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Contreras manages to circle out of the way. Willis closes the distance and clinches. Willis has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Contreras clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Willis controls the action. Willis looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Contreras staying busy and making it hard for Willis to control. Contreras trying to control but not successfully. Willis lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Contreras.
Willis biding his time, controlling Contreras. Contreras is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Willis is trying to stick to Contreras's back but Contreras is turning into Willis. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Willis's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Contreras. Contreras wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Willis's closed guard. He's half up but Willis has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Willis pivots and extends the arm, Contreras falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Willis! Well done that man!
