Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tom Branch (ranked 3812 p4p, 4946 weight class) and Alexander Williamson (ranked 285 p4p, 0 weight class). Branch's entrance music is 28 by Zach Bryan. A fine choice. Alexander Williamson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tom Branch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexander Williamson! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Valeri Chadov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williamson throws a series of strikes that have Branch backpedaling.
Branch closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Williamson to the mat! Williamson manages to get full guard. Williamson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Branch is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Branch sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Williamson's guard. Branch scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Branch lands a nice short elbow. Branch trying to control the pace. Branch moves into full mount! Williamson won't be happy about that!
That's one minute gone in the round. Branch controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Branch has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Branch's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Branch with the ground and pound from mount. Williamson is in a horrible position here. Branch smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Williamson tries to hold on but Branch postures up. Branch tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Branch with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Branch throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Williamson has his hands clasped together but Branch breaks the hold and Williamson is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Branch!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Tom Branch! A determined Tom Branch didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
