Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hassan Amir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rojesterman Haynes!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haynes throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Haynes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Amir half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
A thudding body kick lands there by Haynes!
Haynes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Amir is fending him off so far but Haynes persists. Nope, Amir circles away and we're back to standing.
Haynes tries to land a body kick
and Amir counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Amir throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Amir lands a couple of elbows.
Haynes is rocked!
Amir definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Amir scoring with some ground and pound.
Haynes is still in real trouble! Can Amir finish him?
Amir thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Amir seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Amir postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Haynes covers up, he's hurt! Amir keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Amir and the ref steps in to end the fight! Amir can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hassan Amir!
Hassan Amir decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
