Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alejandro Ortega!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Psycho Killer!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killer throws a hook to the side of Ortega's head but Ortega sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Killer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ortega at a distance.
Ortega takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Killer wants to land a leg kick but Ortega is out of range.
Killer throws a hook but Ortega blocks it.
Ortega changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Killer pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ortega is out of range and Killer settles back down.
Killer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ortega.

Ortega takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Killer drives through and clinches with Ortega against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ortega has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Killer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Killer pushes Ortega back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Nice body punch from Killer - that landed with a thud.
Ortega is breathing heavily.
Killer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Killer sends Ortega crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Killer is motioning to the referee to let Ortega up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Killer closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Ortega! Killer dives in looking to finish! Ortega is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Psycho Killer!
