Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Errol Schilt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Thorsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Errol Schilt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jon Thorsen! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schilt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Thorsen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Schilt buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Schilt walks into a stiff left hand from Thorsen. Thorsen throws a wild body kick that Schilt sees coming a mile off. Schilt lands a jab to the head.
Schilt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Schilt throws a right and a left that both miss. Thorsen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Schilt's waist but Schilt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thorsen off to one side. Thorsen shoots in and drives through. Schilt sprawls well. Thorsen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Thorsen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Schilt wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schilt trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Schilt working to try and regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Thorsen avoids the attempt from Schilt to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schilt is looking to improve his position but Thorsen isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schilt sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Schilt wants to get back to his feet.
Schilt has one foot on Thorsen's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thorsen is looking to clinch. Thorsen throws a left and a right that both miss
and Schilt counters with a left and a right that stings Thorsen. Schilt fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Thorsen. Thorsen looks gassed! Schilt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The fight stays on the outside here - Schilt looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Thorsen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Schilt misses with a series of wild punches.
Schilt goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Errol Schilt dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Schilt tries to land a front kick but Thorsen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Schilt throws a series of punches but Thorsen moves out of range. Schilt is looking to clinch. Thorsen misses with a takedown and Schilt counters with a body kick. Thorsen throws a nice looking combination but Schilt bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Schilt throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Thorsen. Thorsen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Thorsen takes a kick to the side of the head. Schilt closes the distance and lands a one-two. Schilt throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Thorsen is breathing heavily. Schilt lands with a nice body kick. Errol Schilt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Schilt moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Schilt lands a body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Thorsen takes a shot right to the bread basket.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schilt lands a right hook to the body.
Schilt lands with a slapping head kick. Schilt digs a good body shot into Thorsen's ribs. Thorsen keeps the fight on the outside. Schilt looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Thorsen! Schilt controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schilt has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Errol Schilt dominated that second round. That's time! Schilt's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Schilt lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Thorsen backs up against the cage.
Jon Thorsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schilt looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Schilt controlling the pace. Thorsen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Schilt passes the guard and advances to mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Schilt controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Errol Schilt just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Schilt wants to clinch up but Thorsen keeps it at a distance. Schilt throws a one two combo.
Schilt looks to land a combination but Thorsen avoids it well. Schilt throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Schilt throws a head kick that Thorsen semi-blocks.
Schilt throws a combination. Thorsen tries to block but a couple of punches get through. A solid body kick from Schilt. Schilt lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Schilt gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Schilt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schilt lets loose with a powerful body kick. Thorsen will feel that in the morning. This has been an exciting period of action! Thorsen on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Schilt throws a sloppy head kick and Thorsen moves out of range easily. Schilt smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Schilt throws a head kick that misses. Schilt dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A left and a right from Schilt both land. Nice combination. Schilt throws a head kick but Thorsen moves out of range.
Schilt misses with the combination.
Schilt plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Schilt lands with a kick to the temple. Thorsen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Crunch! Schilt slams his shin into Thorsen's torso. Jon Thorsen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Errol Schilt is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Schilt. Thorsen shrugs it off though.
And that's the end of the fight! Errol Schilt showed his dominance in that final round. Well Schilt has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
