Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jagga McSwagga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gunnar Harrington!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McSwagga misses with a straight left.
Harrington bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A big right from Harrington misses.
A shot to the liver by Harrington. Beautiful body shot.
Harrington scores with a nice right hand.
McSwagga takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
McSwagga takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Harrington cracks McSwagga with an open hand slap.
It looks like Jagga McSwagga has been cut.
McSwagga misses with a straight left.
Harrington fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Harrington fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches McSwagga on the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McSwagga takes a swing at Harrington's ribcage but misses.
Harrington lands a straight punch to the body, keeping McSwagga at a distance.
Gunnar Harrington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McSwagga throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Harrington cracks McSwagga with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! McSwagga is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and McSwagga is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
McSwagga throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Harrington cracks McSwagga with an open hand slap.
McSwagga is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Harrington clobbers McSwagga with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Oh McSwagga is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Harrington catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! McSwagga stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? McSwagga walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Harrington engages and cracks McSwagga with a massive lead left hook - McSwagga tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Harrington is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gunnar Harrington!
After winning the bout, Gunnar Harrington thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
