The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murdermanis tries to clinch but Li moves away
and Li counters with a takedown into side control.
Li lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Murdermanis sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Murdermanis is trying to maintain the position but Li is very close to passing his half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Murdermanis tries to roll over but Li keeps him under control.
Li slips a nice elbow through Murdermanis's hands, connecting with Murdermanis's forehead.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Li scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Murdermanis regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Li.
