Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sickwat Dan !

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ward tries to keep at a distance but Dan has taken the fight into the clinch.

Ward throws out a loose jab but Dan uses good head movement to avoid it.

Ward is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Dan is pressed up against the cage. Ward has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dan down to the mat. Dan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
