Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcel Blackwell (ranked 4928 p4p, 4118 weight class) and Neil Park (ranked 233 p4p, 212 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackwell gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Park counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Park trying to control but Blackwell is working from the bottom.
Blackwell controls Park momentarily but Park frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Park slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Blackwell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Park has hold of Blackwell's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Blackwell tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Park cranks the arm and Blackwell screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Blackwell, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Neil Park!
After the fight, Neil Park was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
