Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Knock Out (ranked 24431 p4p, 25363 weight class) and Ching Chong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Knock Out! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ching Chong! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chong drives through with a takedown into guard. Chong looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Chong trying to control but Out is working from the bottom. Out bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chong's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Out stands up over Chong, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Out is looking to work some ground and pound but Chong has wrist control. Out has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Out postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Out lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Chong is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Out is aware though and is defending well. Out drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Out jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Out postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Out keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Chong's head. Out lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Out stands up over Chong, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Out postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chong can't keep his opponent in guard - Out advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Out trying to control the action but Chong is working from the bottom. Out seems to be working for a kimura but Chong defends the submission attempt. Out is looking to take a break and control but Chong is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chong wants to get back to full guard. Out is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Chong has managed to free his arm - good work. Out controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Out lands a nice short elbow. Nice strikes from Out there. Out uses his free foot to push down on Chong's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Chong. Out looking to secure an arm triangle but Chong defends it well. Chong tries to get back to half guard but can't. Out working away from the top, dropping strikes. Chong really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Out lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Chong is squirming around, avoiding Out's attempts to control the action. Out with the ground and pound from mount. Out with shots to the head and body - Chong looks very uncomfortable down there. Out punishing his opponent with strikes. Out landing strikes from the mount. Chong is desperately trying to improve his position but Out has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Out looking to finish Chong with some ground and pound. This is bad for Chong! Out is landing with some decent strikes but Chong is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Out landing shots from mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Out is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Chong can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Out looking to control but Chong is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Out with shots to the head and body - Chong looks very uncomfortable down there. Out landing strikes from the mount. Out pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Chong is looking to get to half guard. Out lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Knock Out dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Out rushes Chong and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Chong tries for a takedown. No joy.

Out working hard to break the clinch. Out wants to get back to striking at distance but Chong won't allow it.

Knock Out has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ching Chong. A battle for position here, against the cage. Out has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Chong regains guard immediately. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Out drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Chong manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Out has Chong in his guard. Chong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Out swivels though and keeps the full guard. Chong is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Out wants to sweep but no luck. Out managing to control the position. Out keeping full guard, as Chong tries to pass. Chong won't allow Out to sweep him here. Out has his foot on Chong's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chong works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Out trying to strike off his back.
Out controlling Chong's posture. Chong is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Out keeping moving, preventing Chong from controlling successfully. Chong pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Out is keeping the position for now. Knock Out overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Chong is still trying to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Out bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chong's guard.
Out got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chong has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Out has managed to get both his arms back between Chong's legs - danger averted. Out slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Out tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Out has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Chong on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Chong is looking to regain half guard here but Out keeps moving and retains side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Out lands an elbow. Out thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. A lull in the action here. Chong manages to get back to half guard. Out is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Chong can do to turn this around? Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chong is looking to improve his position.
Out is trying to control the action in half guard but Chong is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Chong regains full guard. Nicely done. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Knock Out dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round! Out swings widly with a right hand
and Chong counters with a single leg into guard. Out didn't expect that. Chong preventing the sweep. Out is controlling Chong's posture. Chong trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Chong won't allow Out to sweep him here. Out manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chong manages to get himself to full guard.
Chong tries to land a sweep but no joy. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chong is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Out is aware though and is defending well. Out slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Out landing with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chong keeping full guard, as Out tries to pass. Out cracks Chong with a solid left hand. Out landing with the ground and pound. Out scoring with some ground and pound. Out is working Chong over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Chong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Out gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Out trying to control but Chong is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Out content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Out chips away with some ground and pound. Chong looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ching Chong has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chong has momentary wrist control but Out slips an elbow through the middle. Out lands a couple of digs. Chong looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Out cracks Chong with a solid left hand. Chong is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Out is aware though and is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Out slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Chong takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Out looks up at the clock and then as Chong takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Out smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Out wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chong keeps working. Out cracks Chong with an elbow. That is naaassty. Out cracks Chong with a big elbow. Chong is looking to reverse the position. Out lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Chong down.
Chong regains half guard. Out is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Chong!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Out working for a guillotine from mount but Chong is in no mood to give up. Chong is trying to escape the mount.
Knock Out is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Chong is squirming around, avoiding Out's attempts to control the action. Chong bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Chong loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chong drops back, looking for a kneebar! Out looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Out looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Out!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chong is not content to let Out control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Knock Out showed his dominance in that final round. Well Out has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
