The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Manion closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Everett quickly recovers to half guard. Everett looking to hit a scissor sweep but Manion is one step ahead there. Manion looking to sit in guard and control but Everett gets the butterfly guard and sweeps.
