Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yize Li (ranked 3874 p4p, 25237 weight class) and The Loser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yize Li has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yize Li! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, The Loser! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Loser.
Li attempts a counter takedown but Loser avoids it well and moves away. Loser gets a double leg takedown into Li's guard. Li preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Li wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Loser postures up in Li's guard and throws a big left but Li blocks it. Li looking for a sweep. Not yet Li, not yet. Loser has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Loser is fighting to break Li's control of his arms but Li is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Loser trying to control the position from guard on top but Li is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Li is controlling Loser's posture. Loser trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Li pulls Loser in close to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loser thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Li is pulling down on Loser's head to control his posture. Li working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Loser. Li controlling Loser's posture. Loser drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Loser jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Loser throws a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Loser working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Loser throwing strikes from guard but Li blocks nicely. Loser being controlled here momentarily. Loser postures up in Li's guard and throws a big left but Li blocks it. Li pulls Loser in close to his closed guard and prevents Loser from doing any damage or advancing position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. The Loser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Li shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Li showed some decent athleticism there. Li slips a nice elbow through Loser's hands, connecting with Loser's forehead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loser trying to hold on to Li's head to control him but Li postures up.
Li throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Li takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Loser is trying to control but can't.
Li slips a nice elbow through Loser's hands, connecting with Loser's forehead. Li is looking to stall here but Loser recovers full guard. Li distracts Loser with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Li controlling from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Li working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Loser avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Li working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Loser being controlled here, momentarily. Li looking to sit in guard and control but Loser gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Li seems keen to control Loser's posture. Li knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Loser on the ground. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Yize Li will probably get the nod. That's time! Li's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Li fails with the takedown. Loser will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Li gets the takedown into side control. Li throwing strikes but Loser manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Li is looking for a sweep. Li can't do much from the bottom here. Li tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Loser is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Li has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Li really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Loser misses with a head shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Loser trying to control but he's not successful this time. Li is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Li on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Li tries to get out of the position. Loser wants to control the pace but Li is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loser with the ground and pound from mount. Li tries to reverse the position but Loser maintains control. Loser scoring with strikes but Li is staying in there. Loser raining down shots from the mount! Li tries to hold on but Loser pushes him away. Li is looking to get to half guard. Li wants to control but Loser is having none of it. Loser lands a nice shot to the head. Loser with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Li tries to lock up and control but Loser gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Li is squirming around, avoiding Loser's attempts to control the action. Li wants to control but Loser is having none of it. Li prevents any damage by holding on tight. Li tries to hold on but Loser pushes him away. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Loser with the ground and pound from mount. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Li is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Li tries to hold on but Loser pushes him away. Loser is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Li can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The Loser has got the better of the ground game so far. Loser can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Li is looking to escape. Loser lands a big shot there that rocks Li but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Li wants to control but Loser is having none of it. Loser is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Li is forced to tap! Great finish!
