Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Deanthony Pederson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gan Bayarmaa! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pederson lunges at Bayarmaa with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bayarmaa's hand. Pederson misses the shot to the body. Bayarmaa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pederson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bayarmaa thumps Pederson with a low kick. Bayarmaa pivots, looking for a leg kick but Pederson is out of range and Bayarmaa settles back down. Pederson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bayarmaa. Bayarmaa moves away from the strike by Pederson. Pederson misses with a hook to the body
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Bayarmaa tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pederson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Pederson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bayarmaa to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bayarmaa shrugs it off. We've been hearing that Pederson has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Pederson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Pederson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bayarmaa looks a forlorn figure.
Bayarmaa bucks up and throws Pederson to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bayarmaa moves out of range as Pederson strikes. Bayarmaa misses the shot to the body. Pederson tries to counter with a takedown but Bayarmaa is quick to defend against it. Bayarmaa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process.
