Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Deuce McWrestler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lito Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McWrestler on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

and Harrison counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Deuce McWrestler has been cut.
Harrison ducks under a wild hook from McWrestler.
Harrison throws a right and a left that both miss.

McWrestler shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Harrison is trying to defend but McWrestler finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
McWrestler is trying to control the action in half guard but Harrison is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Harrison takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

McWrestler tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Harrison defends well and McWrestler ends up having to push Harrison into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

McWrestler looking to sit in guard and control but Harrison gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Harrison wants to pass the guard but McWrestler is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harrison wanted to stand there but McWrestler had control of the position.
McWrestler is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Harrison is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Deuce McWrestler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McWrestler shoots for a takedown but Harrison saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Harrison throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
McWrestler lands the left hand.

McWrestler scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
McWrestler throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Harrison works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Harrison is trying to maintain the position but McWrestler is very close to passing his half guard.
Harrison is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but McWrestler is staying active.
McWrestler thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McWrestler is nestled in close to Harrison, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
McWrestler stops Harrison from getting back to his feet.
Harrison works his way to full guard. Good work.
Harrison is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

McWrestler postures up in Harrison's guard and throws a big left but Harrison blocks it.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

McWrestler has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Harrison's face.

Deuce McWrestler overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McWrestler cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
McWrestler lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Harrison is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
McWrestler can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Harrison is looking to escape.
McWrestler avoids the attempt from Harrison to control.
McWrestler lands a big shot there that rocks Harrison but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Harrison is wriggling around trying to escape.
McWrestler lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
McWrestler tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

McWrestler pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

McWrestler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Harrison takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! McWrestler's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
